The Musigny Grand Cru from Domaine Jacques Prieur is 100% Pinot Noir from one of the largest terroirs in the Cote des Nuits. Located on a fault overlooking the Clos de Vougeot and adjoining Combe Orveau, the Musigny vineyards are favored with southeast exposure and have a sunny micro-climate. It is aged in new oak barrels for 19 months. This wine has a beautiful, somber ruby colour with intense violet glints. The nose is pure with lovely hints of black cherry, tobacco, and dark chocolate underlined with soft violet floral notes. The palate is dense and fleshy, distinguished by black fruit with fresh tannins, it is perfect for easy sipping.
